Gary Fitzgerald graduated with a BA degree in Music; Theory and Composition from the State University of New York at New Paltz. After college, while performing in
local clubs, his partner and himself were selected for a 13 week promotional tour of thirteen western states by R.J. Reynolds representing its Camel
cigarettes brand. They performed original music and served as emcees for promotional game shows. After the tour the long arduous task of carving out a niche
in the NY music scene began. Several awards later, an Emmy for his composition with CBS's Guiding Light, a Genesis award for his work with Disney's
Audubon's Animals, a New York Festivals World Medal for International TV Programming for a series called Mysterious Places. After owning and operating a
recording studio located in Manhattan for ten years he currently composes in a recording studio located in Raleigh, North Carolina. |
